ok,barrel latch?
« on: November 10, 2005, 04:44:58 AM »
I just got off the phone with NEF and it seems my other barrel (243 superlight) is now fixed....it was the barrel latch? can this cause accuracy problems? The barrel felt tight even with the forearm off.anyway,Mary in CS said there was a target with it shot from the barrel @ 100 yds and all 3 of the bullets were no more than an inch from the bull...i can live with that   also have my 223 standard and 270 ultra comp barrel fitted and should be shipping tomorrow or monday

I MISS MY HANDI   :(
Good shot placement + well constructed bullet = DEAD

Great!!! Sounds like your good to go now. I had specifically asked for a test target when they fitted my 30-06 Compensated barrel, I asked both in writing with the order and by phone,  but I did not get one. I have not shot it yet, I hope it's a shooter. Of course I also asked if they had any .270 Comp barrels left and tried to order one of each (30-06 and .270) but was told the .270 Comps were all gone and went fast, only to learn a coule of days after I got my 30-06 Comp barrel back they still had .270 Comp barrels available  !!! I gave on on one then because I did not want to have to pay shipping twice, a small amount I know but I guess I was a bit peeved. Oh well, I really wanted the 30-06 barrel more than the .270 anyway. But it would still be nice to have one of each!!....<><....
