Well..that time is finally approaching...the centerfire portion of Missouri's regular whitetail deer hunting starts Saturday...and I will be heading out tommorrow...I got a ton of honeydo's to get done today...and packing to do tonite...so I'll  my time on here today and tommorrow will be brief...and then off to my secluded valley next to the Gasconade River...Yeeeeeeeeeee....Haaaaaaaaaaw...

good luck Mac,  I wont be too far from you, unless you travel upriver very far on the Gasgonade.  We are just out Hwy 100 from Hermann.  I may even head into town tomorrow,either Sharps corner of the brewery.

Hi SGD,

I get my sausage made at Swiss Packing.  How long have you been hunting the area.  I have been going there since about 1978, my dad was hunting it about 5 years earlier.  Its the only place I have ever hunted deer actually.

P.S. you better hurry back with a big buck and post a lot about it, at this time I am 2 posts ahead of you with 3016 to 3014, thats a .9993369 percentage lead on you!!! But then again who's counting!!!....<><....

You guys are a riot... :)  :)  :)

I'll be 39 miles north of Rolla...and 40 miles south of Jeff City for all you Show me state guys..6 miles off highway 63...anyone want to have coffee Saturday nite and compare notes...the first cup is on me???????..I got a little while on here till supper...and then back at it...got most of the Honeydo's done...just 2 more little jobs tommorrow morning before I pull out...

Well...the club is worth it to me...either way...I've already met a bunch of good guys ...and seen a-lot of great hunting areas...all available to me with just a phone call...they have picked up a-lot more ground in Nebraska and Iowa...so it looks like I might be doing some pheasent hunting this year too and duck hunting around Stuttgart next year... :oh:  :yeah:
