Need scope base for 1"diam rcvr

Can anyone point me to a (1 or 2 pc) base that fits a 1" diameter receiver? I have a Rem 591 but I want to put a Weaver style base on it rather than the dovetail rimfire rings.
I can make one if I have to but would rather just buy if there is one that fits.
What size is an Encore barrel?

I think Encore barrels are one inch. That would be a good place to start. Also, if you couldn't get an exact fit just epoxy bed the base on. Clean the base, mould release the action, screw it on lightly, and you'll have a perfect fit. That's what I do to 1 piece bases on 700s since they never fit properly anyhow.

Thanks Nobade! I forgot all about the AcraGlass trick, I have heard and read about it but never done it.
Turns out that the Encore base is absolutely perfect! I had one in my box of parts that got ordered by mistake a couple years ago, should have looked before I asked. Even the side cuts in the base line up dead on the ejection port in the 591 receiver when the base is installed backwards. Going to be killer! :D
