does anyone know how to trap squirrels

I bought a live animal cage trap,to try to catch a squirrel alive.I need to trap a gray squirrel so I can train my Black and Tan Feist pup,he is 3 months old.If anybody knows the best way to trap a squirrel alive would you give me some answers?

Peanut Butter or Applesauce always seemed to get squirrle in my rabbit traps way back when I was a kid...man thats along time ago.

George,I have taken 41 squirrels in a live trap over the last few months--right off my deck:34 grays and 7 reds.
 I take a bagel{they are very hard and hold up well} put peanut butter on it and hang it in the back of the cage trap.Works very well for me.
 You can place near wherever the squirrels are eating.Good Luck!  Tom
