Where to buy black powder?
« on: November 10, 2005, 07:30:03 PM »
I am aware of:

 http://www.powderinc.com/

....but they have a five pound minimum......Jeez, I don't shoot that much. BP is only a fun thing to do once in awhile.

Anyone know where I can get one pound of BP shipped?

thanks

If you find a place...that will be a high dollar pound of powder after you figure in shipping and HazMat. www.grafs.com has a 4lb. minimum. Go that route and store it. About the best I can tell ya.

I'm assuming you mean real black powder as subtitute powder can be found everywhere.

Here's the address to a GOEX distributor in Montana:

Western Powders, Inc.
P. O. Box 158
Top of Yellowstone Hill
Miles City, MT 59301
800-497-1007, 406-232-0422

Thanks Gentlemen.....

I did some further checking and was able to locate a local gunshop that has some Black Powder in stock.
