I'm thinking of getting a .223 HB or the Ultra
Which would be better.
Also what is the twist rate for the .223

I have the Ultra.  I liked it the best.  The twist rate is 1/12.

If I could have, I would have got the FLuted Varmint first. But it came out a couple months after I got my Ultra. I love mine too, as do most all here with a 223. They shoot great, though I do wish they had a better rate of twist. But I ain't complaining. Pick up one with some WWB 45gr JHP's and have some fun.

Don't think, just do it! :) I have heard very few people who've bought the .223 Ultra regret the decision; they all seem to be tack-drivers. I was at the range yesterday; out of eight groups, seven were .813" or better! And part of that was working up a new load.

They're right about the Win white box loads; also try the Ultramax 40gr if you can find them; they shoot just as well.

Good luck  8)

Sorry bro I didn't know. Cali is a tough place for gun owners. Keep it the sport up, and shoot often :toast:
