P/W 800 or Dillion 900
« on: November 14, 2005, 01:24:53 AM »
I need some good advise.  I'm upgrading to a progressive loader.  I have narrowed my choices to P/W 800 with the die change feature or the Dillon 900 with the case feeder.  What are the pros & cons of these machines?  Has anyone used both machines? How easy is it to switch gauges? (I want to switch from 12-20 regularly.)  Does the Dillon case feeder work well? How easy are the machines to adjust?  I am using hulls fired from multiple guns and shooting the reloads in multiple guns including auto loaders.  Any help will be appreciated, Thanks

schutzen,
The P/W is definitely the better of the two choices, and a case feeder has been available for the P/W for two years now. Both case feeds work OK there's not much difference in them. Speed of changover would most likely go to the Dillon. Using cases from multiple guns in your multiple guns would tilt the scale towards the P/W's more positive sizing also.
