I have a 12 year old Savage 110 in a .223. Is it possible to put a new Accutrigger in this gun?

no is right, but there are are other perfectly good aftermarket triggers on the market.

I think Timney and others make them too.  Seems like the concensus is that the Sharp Shooter's is the best.

Mark, if the pull is on the heavy side, consider having a qualified smith work on the trigger. This helped improve the trigger on the pre Accutrigger Model 10 I got for my son and makes it more pleasant to shoot.

If nothing else, maybe you have a plausible excuse for getting a new rifle
