Sweet. The rear sight looks non factory? I'm gonna have to do an old model the same way and have the top strap milled flat to boot. Did he round the trigger guard or was it a Hunter model.

Was once a 7.5" barrel, now cut to a little over 5.5".  It will be cut again to 4 5/8" next trip out to my uncle's.  Text was turned off the barrel for a clean look.

45LC
Barrel cut, recrown, turning and site replacement was done by previous own-my uncle.
I've added a Belt Mountain base pin to tighten up the cylinderand a set of Ajax Ivory grips.  Future Buffalo Horn grips will be added as soon as I save up some cash.

Equiped with Ajax Ivory(synthetic) grips, Van Horn crossdraw, on Tombstone belt.   This is now my daily CCW rig.

That's a nice 45, Box. Who did the work? Looks like a Clements or Bowen blade. Imagine if the top strap was flat. Oh yeah. Looks like the sight pin is low enough but some smiths won't do it for some reason.

Interestingly enough it was going to be "flat topped" but I changed my mind in the end. Alan Harton did the work.

He did a nice job on the hammer. He has one of my 357s but the pin is too high to flatten so I plan to send another one for a crew cut and a rear Accro sight.
