Hopefully this won't embarrass me, I'm a noobee to rifles. In terms of reliability how do semi-autos compare to lever guns, or pumps for that matter? Quite frankly, I'm looking for an "everything" fifle in .308. All wisdom is appreciated!

reliability in a lever or bolt gun will out do a semi. Leverguns are accurate , easy to handle and just plain fun!
