Price Check on a 12 in .223

I had stopped in at Dicks sporting goods, and they are asking $500 for a model 12 FV with the accutrigger, and a Simmons 4-12 scope.  How does this sound?  Is it reasonable?

Also how is this rifle with loaded down rounds?  I dont need full power loads where I hunt.  (Saftey reasons)  It has a 1 in 9 twist.

Sounds like a reasonable price with the scope. Around here a 12FV can run 500 NIB no scope though I got mine on sale at Gander for $400 last year though when I added the scope, rings, and bases I easily went past 500.
