And just how many child molesters photograph kids before they molest them?  Is everyone who photographs children a child molester in the making?  This sounds like another brilliant bureaucratic brain fart.

Sounds like a tactic to create another class of criminal.

When you want more control, make more laws that criminalize more stuff.

Doesn't matter if it defies common sense or not.

If they redefine "molestation"and the properties or components of "molestation", they can create more "molesters".

A sex offense means the rest of your life with your name on the books.  A permanent leash.

With regard to real child molesters, I strongly disagree that castration is an appropriate method of either punishment or treatment.

The only sure method that will end or control their perverse desires and activities is to kill them outright.

.
They may talk of a "New Order" in the  world, but what they have in mind is only a revival of the oldest and worst tyranny.   No liberty, no religion, no hope.   It is an unholy alliance of power and pelf to dominate and to enslave the human race.

Sounds like you have the same caliber polititions in Aussie land as we have here in the USA. This is all I am going to say about this post because if I spoke the way I feel about child molesters GB would give me the boot. Let's just say I have more respect for an earthworm than a child molester.

Irregardless of my lothing of child molesters. It appears that ignorance is in fact contagious,at least in Australia. How the banning of photography will prevent child molestation is leap of fantasy that LSD couldn't reproduce. How did these idiots get elected in the first place. That's like blameing  drunk driveing on the cars.

Austrailian Bureaucracy Gone Mad!

Dodd3, here on the North American Continent, we contend with Liberals that actually believe you can rehabilitate the child molesters back on the street.  Casteration is cruel.  Jail, for a third of the sentencing is appropiate.  Education is the key to recovery.  Having a pediphile for a father, has harden my disdain for all sex offenders.  I survived!!  :toast:

You are not that far off , If a gun maker can be sued because some dumb&&& shoots someone , then it is not that far of a reach that a car co. can be blamed for drunk drivers .

AS for child molsters , There is only one cure  :blaster:

There has already been cases where bars and restaurant chains have been sued because they sold alcohol to someone who later was involved in a DUI accident.

Here is my 2 cents....it's harsh.
What may be missing here is the old value of,"You were wrong, admit it...." And the offending person saying, "I was wrong, I am sorry, I will try to do better."    From childhood up, nobody admits they are wrong, about ANYTHING....how do we learn???

EVERYTHING gets blamed for what happens except the person who DID it.  People constantly search for the reason something criminal happens, because they can't come to the singular conclusion of, "There are bad people, and there are evil people, and they are amoung us."

We seemed to have developed into a nation of procrastinators.  Some bad people need to die for their criminal acts, now. Not for punishment, but to remove them without mercy for the safety of society!

Instead we warehouse these monsters until the half life of a generations passes, and everybody forgets what they did, and we release them.... they are all better after 20 years of prison rape, murder, secret prison criminal activity, and plotting revenge??   GOOD GOD!!

The fly in the ointment is that for good, righteous people to kill even evil people even in the most sterile of enviornments, it definitely traumitizes the good people......now what do we do?  No answer for you there.  :D
