Here is my 2 cents....it's harsh.
What may be missing here is the old value of
,"You were wrong, admit it...." And the offending person saying,
"I was wrong, I am sorry, I will try to do better." From childhood up, nobody admits they are wrong, about ANYTHING....how do we learn???
EVERYTHING gets blamed for what happens except the person who DID it. People constantly search for the reason something criminal happens, because they can't come to the singular conclusion of,
"There are bad people, and there are evil people, and they are amoung us." We seemed to have developed into a nation of procrastinators. Some bad people need to die for their criminal acts,
now. Not for punishment, but to
remove them without mercy for the
safety of society!
Instead we warehouse these monsters until the half life of a generations passes, and everybody forgets what they did, and we release them.... they are all better after 20 years of prison rape, murder, secret prison criminal activity, and plotting revenge?? GOOD GOD!!
The fly in the ointment is that for good, righteous people to kill even evil people even in the most sterile of enviornments, it definitely traumitizes the good people......now what do we do? No answer for you there.
