I had finally settled on 42.0 grain H4198, & the Hornady 350 grain SP. I shoot the 300 grainers for deer but they are soft & open up a bit too much. The shot that took the buffalo shot nearly all the way through & was found under the hide on the offside..the one that i got the elk with sailed on through. Damage was good in both insttances. That load was good 3 shot groups of about 1.5" at 100, and 5 shot groups of around 2". The 300 grainers shot better but i think they are too soft if you hit a leg bone..
Be sure to reduce the loads by 10% to start in your gun..my barrel is by SSK & TC factory tubes may have different chamber or bore dimensions that affect pressures. Recoil is stout...the last shot, which was the elk, trashed the 2x Leupold on the gun & it sounds like a baby rattle & you can see parts rattling around in there. I am sending it back, i have torn up others & they fixed them or replaced them.
good luck hunting!
