Is there a product like this???

What if rubber (Like Pachymaer grips are made from) was made in a glue backed sheet that could be applied to the forestock and grip/wrist of the butt stock? It would make the rifle very grippable, would be attractive, functional and inexpensive. Surely this exists somewhere....

I hunt with full camo, even during rifle season when I have to wear hunter orange. Part of the full camo is a pair of light weight mesh camo gloves that have the little grippy dots on the fingers and palm, they work wet or dry and don't make me feel like I'm gonna loose my grip on my firearm, specially when wet. The gloves are made in different weights for different weather conditions, too. Stormkloth makes some real nice ones that are waterproof.

The cheek pads I use from the same company on my trap/skeet/and sporting clays guns work great..they stick very good...and can be trimmed to fit any forarm..while they aren't checkerd like the palm swell grips..they do come in various thicknesses to suit your needs...and should do exactly what your looking to do...

JPH45,have you tried putting a thick coat of Varnish on,and while its still wet sprinkle some sand and gravel on it? It should be very grippable and cheap.  :-D  :-D  :-D  Digger

Heck, while the varnish is still wet, just grab hold of it with gloves on, let the varnish dry and leave the gloves stuck to it, ready to go!!! :-D  :-D  :-D
