Is there such a thing as to many barrels for one frame. I am still toying w/ the idea of an Encore. I love the idea of one gun to do it all.

Depends on how much you like changing barrels over.  Personally, I do not like changing barrels over, especially on Contenders and Encores.  Its not as bad with Handi rifles.  Maybe I'm just too lazy, but every barrel I own has a frame attached to it.

i love my contender carbine set up!
  i have all my barrels scoped in a box, in between uses.
  barrels i own.
  .22lr 21in.
  .22k-hornet 21in.
  .204 ruger 23in. bull
  30-30 21in.
 i had a bull barrel 21in. .357 i wish id kept!
  i can hunt anything i hunt, with these barrel choices
 i wish i had a .410 shotgun barrel, and a 45-70 or a .375 win.
 it,s easy to get carried away!
 as much as i love this carbine for its accuract and shootability. i dont like changing barrels either. but cant afford that many frames.
 particularly when i get one of the varmint cartriges shooting well, the last thing i want to do is take it apart!

after i posted, i bought the .410 barrel and a 7-30 waters. still wish i had a .357 carbine barrel !

Nope!  It's all personal preference.  In my rifles I like keeping the same barrel on the same frame.  As a result I have 3 Encores and one Contender.  In pistols I have multiple barrels for one Contender frame and multiple barrels for my Encore frame.  In either case it doesn't affect accuracy.  It's just easier to store the extra pistol barrels with my current setup.
