just bought a mod. 94

:D  Hi, Just bought a model 94 with a 5'' barrel, seems like its a nice gun, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, trigger pull is pretty heavy in double action, but not bad in single action, was looking for a 22 that was accurate, hoping this one is. Was pretty surprised at all the negative comments on Tauruses. Anybody have anything good to say about a mod.94 with a 5" barrel.  :D

I picked up a used Model 94 about 2 years ago. I've put about 500 rounds thru it, with no problems. Nor with my 2 other Taurus revolvers or two semi-autos. I think they are good products for the money.

I've had my model 94 with 5" bbl for 4 or 5 years, shot several thousand rounds and not any problems. I love it!!!

I too came home with one yesterday.  Waiting for the wife's pistol permit to come through as it fits her hand as good as mine.  We both liked the weight and the way it fit our hands perfectly.  Only drawback is the trigger.   (SA is good, crisp and only a tad heavy.)   At this point, I am wearing out snap caps trying to get the DA trigger pull down to a tolerable level.  I used barbell weights to determine it was over 16, probably 17 pounds before starting to dry fire last night.
Does this particular model have an adjustment inside the handle for hammer / trigger ?
