I don't think it would too much of a problem.  Those guidelines are mostly SAAMI standards set for that particular cartridge.  In essence, you've made a wildcat!

I've accidentally trimmed cases a little too short, with no noticeable problems.  The only reason you might notice a difference is because the case tension holding the bullet is slightly less than the rest.  So your groups may change slightly.

If I'm wrong about my knowledge concerning cases being trimmed too short, I too would like to know if there is a problem with that.  I don't think I've ever trimmed that much shorter than required, but I've never seen anything that would cause alarm in my experience when I trimmed off a little too much.

It wont hurt any thing safety wise. .023" is not very much. From an accuracy stand point it could hurt some. But I doubt it. You may end up with a little powder fouling where the case ends and that could cause a tight chamber condition if you put a full length round in after a shorter one. But as long as you shoot them by themselves and clean before using your normal cases you should be fine.  KN
