Ken;
Since my wife does not hunt, I'll have to admit you have something special there. Me, I have to go with the following as "Love is"(as in "Ya gotta Love it"):

Four whitetail does on the ground in less then four minutes. Mt4xfore and I each got two during a late hunt in 2004.

OR:
A truck full of mulie freezer meat.

Since I haven't been able to hunt for the last couple of years, I have a slightly different take.

I do love my wife, and she does shoot with me, but does not hunt.

So...

Love for me at the moment, is sitting at the computer reading this forum enjoying and appreciating the efforts you hunters are making with the the stories and pictures you are posting.

Thanks guys. I truly LOVE this place.

Cheers
Kerry

LOVE IS sitting in a ground blind with your 11 year old daughter holding your .44 Handi on her first deer hunt. No deer or snow and it was warmer than 28 degrees, but a lasting memory.

I agree with all you fellows. I can really agree with Ed in Al. I have four daughters and they all like to hunt. I am now looking foward to getting the grandson out there with the superlight 223 that I have put together for him and the other grandchildren as they get old enough....

Love is my wife buying me another handi for Christmas. She thinks it's the silliest waste of money in the world. She doesn't hunt she doesn't really like shooting but she will get me that Christmas gun because she loves me.
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

Love is my wife packing my cooler with food to take hunting, reminding me that the freezer is full of deer meat and not to bring anymore deer and wonder out loud if I had enough hunting yet. Well we all know the answer to that.
.
Love is to be alive at my age and still be able to hunt deer, moose, geese, pheasants and Huns, Today ended 05 deer season we got my friend's buck this am. What a wonderful end of deer season, but fellows the geese are flying in multitudes, and there is still a month left to hunt them.
