newbie needs info on age of contender?

I have shooting and loading for about 25yrs. My main concern is accuracy, I am new to contenders, how do I find the age of my stainless gun? Also would like to see some pictures of custom or semi-custom contenders. Mine is a factory 223 14inch,also would like some loading suggestions.I have heard about a hanger to float the barrel,does it work and where do I get one?  THANKS
