Unless necessity requires me to go into an area where the likelyhood of having to use a gun is great, I tend to avoid them. That said, I carry everywhere I go. Crime is not restricted to certain neighborhoods or certain times of the day. The most important tool you carry with you daily is your mind, be aware and avoid, avoid, avoid, and if necessary, retreat to remove yourself from danger. But the most important issue of all, is your survival mindset, and your resolve to use deadly force if required, without hesitation. The mere presence of a gun has ended many an assault without shots fired. Just be prepared to "take it to the limit" if you have to!
