What kind of accuracy or group sizes can one expect from a Marlin 1894 chambered for the 38 Special?

Shooting off the bench with care at 25 yards I can get 5 shots touching in both .38 and .357 (on a good day).  I haven't really tested for accuracy beyond that.  Dennis

My 1894C will produce sub MOA groups at 100 yards with it's prefered 357 magnum loads, with the aid of a good scope. I hate scopes on lever actions though, so the only time this gun ever wears one is for load testing.

This rifle will put nearly any 125g or heavier jacketed load you care to throw together into 2.5" at 100 yards.
