Taxidermy Liscense??? Is there such a thing??
« on: November 28, 2005, 04:42:27 AM »
I have been skull mounting for myself and a few friends for a few years now and I enjoy it.  I was thinking of branching out and offering the service in my area for a nominal fee (maybe I can earn enough to support my hunting habit).

I did not want to step on any toes and was wondering if some type of licenseing is appropriate.  I will be limiting myself to skull and perhaps antler plaque mounting and thats it.

Any comments/suggestions

I'm pretty sure that here in Pennsylvania a license is needed.  If you contact your state Fish & Game department (whatever it's called in your state), I'm sure they would let you know.
