i'm thinking about buying a crossbow and have been shooting a compound made by pse. are there crossbows any good? i was looking at the viper copperhead 150lb pull.

I would guess that most xbows made today are decent.

I just bought a copperhead viper used. Sofar as I can tell it is a good crossbow but the sights suck. You will need to buy a scope imo.

toridak,i ordered a copperhead viper 2 weeks ago and sent it back last week. it was a peice of junk . it had no power,arrows dropped 8in from 20yds to 30yds. and the best groups i could get was around 8inches at 30 yds.

Get an Excalibur, you won`t regret it, they are a serious peice of equipment. I shot an Excalibur Exocet this week, 200 pounds, shoots so sweet and so well made. I am getting one this year. Jack.
