That's the same scope I have on my Handi hornet, great scope, X-hair is a little thick, but it works great....the krinkle finish is about the only down side of it, but for $100, it's a great scope.

Here's a pic with the matte ATV on the bottom.

I have a 2.5- 10 Simmons Whitetail Classic on my Remington 243. Its a good scope, though not quite as nice as the Whitetail Expedition. Still I was considering one of these as well. Only the thick cross hairs and size of it has held me back from buying one.

I have three of these scopes!  One on my Number 1 223, one on nef 243, , and nef 270.  I have never had any problems with this scope.  My father had one on a High Wall 45-70 that didn't last with his very stout loads, but he sent it back to Simmons and they gave him a new one.  Can't beat that for service.

Simmons scope are a really inexpensive good scope. Good eye relief. I got one on my Henry .22 and just mounted one last   night on my Rossi 30-06. Will try it out tomorrow if it doesn't snow.

Still looking for a scope for the Nagant huh lostsniper :)
Only one way to try it...buy it.
Probably a better bet than the Tasco or BSA, my friend. It will add some weight to it as well, just keep that in mind :agree: .
