I got one in March 1997 for $285, not sure what a used one will go for. The one I have shoots 1 1/2" at 100yds with Winchester Super-X 40gr jhp. For the kind of shooting I do it is more than accurate enough. This is my favorite.  If I were to quote a famous saying to apply to this rifle it would be " They can have my gun when they pry it from my cold dead hands!"

I've had mine for quite a few years now. A trigger job turned it into a real tack driver.
The Remington premier 33gr ammo shoots excellent in it. 3/4" (usually smaller) at 50 yards.
I did see one at a gun show this year, new in the box. I think the guy wanted about $250.00 for it. I never saw anyone even looking at it.

there is 2 for sale here uin the used rack at collectors firearms in Housotn.  they both look brand new, i think their prices are between 270 and 300. if you can get one new or used for this price or less, apparently you should do it.

I just got one and it shot quite poorly with the 3 ammos I tried:  Winchester Dynapoint, CCI maxi-mag, and 1 other (I think it was also a type of CCI).  Groups at 50 yards ranged from 2" to 4" - completely unacceptable.  So, I am very glad to know that it *may* shoot Winchester SuperX 40s and Remington Premier 33s well, so thanks Gary & Ed.  Beautiful gun, and sure would be fun, if I can get it to shoot well.

I bought a 922M used for $150. It is extremely accurate especially with the high-priced Rem. Premiers and Winchester Supremes--1/2" at 50 when the wind is with me. In fact in might be the most accurate rimfire semi-auto I own.

BTW, the fit and finish is better than most current marlins.

a local shop has a used one for $250 but no one's biting. I think it a problem of most people not knowing what they are.

My wife bought me a used one about 1 1/2 years ago at Scheels for around $150.  I wanted an auto mate for her 25MN, and she complied.  Very cool.

It had a scope on it.  It will shoot very decently, but not as good as her 25MN.  I suppose I could try to find its favorite ammo, but I just keep feeding it whatever I have on hand.  I usually find myself shooting it at the 150+ yard ranges so that is probably why I find the accuracy not what I am expecting.  Never did the 50 yard accuracy tests, as if it is that close...it gets hit.  Period.  So I guess the accuracy is acceptable for an auto.  8)
