Gentlemen: I owned an early Rossi Stagecoach 20" bbl 3"Mag. 12 Gage and I needed money (my loss). It had color case hardened rabbit ear hammers which later models did not. I had it displayed at my table at a gun show in Ft. Myers, FL years ago and a Miami gun dealer talked me out of this mint condition shotgun for $250.. Who was taken, me or him ?[/b]

well, I had three at one time, a 20 ga and two 12's, but sold them all , none had the case hammers. Anyways, That gun now would probly bring close to $400 give or take $50.

Since you estimate $400, I would add another $100 for color case hardened rabbit ear hammers for what must be a rare shotgun. Woe is me ! :oops: I, evidently, was the one taken in that transaction. Who could believe that shotgun costing $85 new could have increased in value so much !!

I estimated $400 WITH the colored hammers standard blued hammers bring $300 at the most. There wasn't a rossi double made worth $500.
