I just switch and go.  Here in VA, when muzzleloader ends, gun season opens the following day.  I killed one with the ML, and have killed two with the 7mm-08, the switch didn't seem to affect my zero.  Good luck on your hunt!

I just switch and go. I have never had a problem with my zero changing.  :D

I'd say it's more like five minutes, at least for me.  I always have a little bit of trouble getting the hinge pin back in, as well as getting the screws to line up and start.  All in all it's fairly simple.

For a $500 rifle, I think they could have done a better job on their forends and screws......they could have made them BIGGER for ol' blind fumblers like me! :)

I can (and have) switched back and forth multiple times in one day just  to see if my 7-08 and 209x50 would hold zero. Both did with no problem. Congrats Deernut!

Each barrel has its own firmly attached scope or sight system.  Once you sight each barrel in and zero each to your sight in distance, it should not change.  Nothing in the adjustments of the scope or sight system should change when you remove or re-install the barrel.

Provided the scope or sight system on each barrel is firmly attached, there should be no change in point of impact after changing barrels.

If you are unsure and want to reinforce your confidence, fire off a few rounds from each barrel at your sight in distance.  Each should be dead on.  Practise always helps us all.

Good luck.
