I envy you!

I've done a little deer hunting, but have yet to get out calling. After deer season's over, and most of the hunters are done bumbling around in the woods spooking all the predators up, I'll be out there after some fur too!

Very Cool  8)
Would love to hear some details, especially on the Dbl's.
Also of great intrest would be Cal/bullet used & your opinion on how pelt friendly it was.
I have only taken a third of what you have but like Jerry, have been Deer hunting also.  :D

I am using a Handi Rifle in 223 bull barrel.  I have load that I believe is perfect for my rifle.  It shoots great.  I am using 50gr Sierra Blitz Bullets and they are extremely fur friendly on the yotes.  They are proving to not be so good on the coon however.  Oh well, I am getting a 17HMR or a 22Mag for coon next year anyways.

For the doubles, on one of them, we called both in at the same time and we each shot one, and the other time, we called one in, shot it, and kept calling.  the other one came trotting out in the field about 2 minutes after the first one was shot.  ALWAYS keep calling!!!

Good Job there on the dogs. I am waiting until deer season goes out. As there wont be as many people out in the woods. And i like to call when it is colder too. VM :D

Amen on the Good Job
Another thing to do (probably done by yourself) is to get on the distress call immediatley after taking one. :D

Wow, congratulations Swift One, I getting ready in the next week to slam some yotes. I have a honey hole and can't wait to get some shooting done. I have Handi-rifle in 223 and a Savage in 17 HMR that will be seeing some action this year. :D
