How come I never hear anything about the Heritage rough rider?  I got one last year 22lr/22mag for $140 new, and I think it is a great gun!  Sure, it doesn't have the nice looks like a Ruger, but I haven't had any problems with mine.  They are even made in the USA!

I bought one of the Rough Riders in .22 a year ago

not expecting much for $119, after sporting it around for

a year I have grown to to like it very well.

Shoots very well and looks plenty fine...

I have one tat was borrowed by a friend.. Well he is in no hurry to return it. That pretty much says it. A good cheap plinker. I do not like the funky safety on the cylinder. oh well.

I have had one now for 3 years with both cylinders. Mine has been dead reliable and a fun gun to shoot. My only complaint is in the 22mag cylinder the empty shells are a pain to eject sometimes. It's a minor complaint, no big deal. For a cheap plinker I don't think they can be beat.

I got one for Christmas, two words, LOVE IT.
It is a good shootin little gun, I think it looks great, and again, you can't beat the price. I second that on ejectin the mag cases, but oh well, ain't much of a problem.
