.218 Mashburn Bee
« on: December 04, 2005, 08:29:26 AM »
I just had an old low wall rebarelled in .218 Mashburn Bee.  It currently is out being restocked.  I have a couple hundred .218 Bee cases that I will fire form but I am having trouble finding loads specifically for the Mashburn Bee.  I am sure that Ackley loads will be fine as well.

Does anyone out there have a Mashburn Bee and any loading info. to pass along?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Dana,
Be very carefull when useing Ackley data. He was know to load them up pretty hot and most of the powders he used have been improved upon alittle bit. That mean his load could be very dangerious. Just start lower than you usually do when working up loads and watch for presure signs to show up sooner than you though they would. If you have a cronograph and see that your loads are faster than you though you should get, back them down. If you want real fast get a .220 Swift. Sound like you got a real nice toy there.
