« on: March 07, 2003, 12:36:45 PM »
Just got a New Century Arms flyer, they list Hotshot brand ammo in 7.62x54, softpoint or FMJ for $162.50 per 500 rds.  And it's reloadable also.

At 32.5 cents apiece it's pretty hard justifying the cost of reloads, doesn't it?????  That's why we all were bummed out when "Cheaper Than Dirt" no longer sells 6.5x55mm Sellier & Bellot hunting ammo for under 50 cents.

Aim just had a sale on 7.62x54 it lasted one day .95 cents for 15rds russian military surplus.  I bought 50boxes/750rds for $68 shipped.  Its the lowest I have ever seen this ammo. the last sale on 7.62x54 was sportsmansguide had it two years ago for $78/880rds.  I can remember when 7.62x54 was hard to get and close to $200 a case.                                    BigBill

But the hot-shot at century we have to buy no less than 200rds and all the ammo is $6.87 a box I like it too were are we going to get 8 boxes of ammo for $54.96 not bad for soft point ammo(hunting stuff) I just recieved the Igman 8MM ammo from AIM for $6,95 good stuff time to buy ammo stockup and save on low prices that are available to us. I'm going to order some hot shot too.
