Pure 100% blind luck. Sat all weekend and 3 evenings in my standard treestands only seeing some fork horns. Too many acorns. So, on the next weekend, I went into a thick 100 acre patch of timber (about 50 yards) and sat down after I found a nice rub. 30 minutes later, he came by chasing 4 does. I got up on him as he was trotting by. He disappeared in the smoke and I cursed myself for missing him. Got up and went over to luckily find blood. He had only ran about 25 yards and the shot was dead center on the lungs. I have not scored him, but I honestly think he's probably one the better bucks taken in Oklahoma last year. Do you think he will go 150 inches?
