A CZ story.....
« on: December 07, 2005, 10:44:48 AM »
I was in Wally World yesterday and Santa tapped me on the shoulder. For a few months now I've been thinking of getting an accurate bolt action 22lr. The CZ American and or Trainer were choices. Well, I was walking around Wally's and low and behold there was a brand new shiney CZ in the trainer version in the case. I like the Trainer version because it has the iron military sights, but not the adjustable trigger group. It seems that some guy special ordered it and declined taking it just a day or two ago. So, I said it was meant to be....they gave me 10% off, too. So, in less than an hour I was out the door with the CZ trainer....NICS was up and running. The trigger is as light as can be....going to be good to shoot standing freehand this rifle. Just shot a 5 shot quarter size group covered by a quarter at 25 yds with PMC moderators [very quiet!] and the factory steel sights were sighted in!!! Didn't have to touch them. I'm happy and happy to see that a gun manufacturer can still do something right.
