i really like the SPS. i have a stainless .243 and it is about what i think a real hunting rifle should be. the stock is really made well and good quality for being a cheaper synthetic...they come with a limbsaver already on 'em and even the stainless cost me only $469. my walnut and blued BDL cost me $559.
I am thinking of buying another one in blue and rustoleum-painting the barrel a stainless color and having it be a really useful, all-around gun.
For the money I don't think you can buy a better gun. i think the blued ones are around $350 or so.
