Great humanitarian and role model. Yeah right!  :-D I think the punishment fit the crime. Only wonder why it took so long to carry out the sentence. Maybe Arnie has some common sense after all.

One of the reporters from Fox news covering the story said that if you talk with prison officials you get an entirely different view of "Tookie". He was not a redeemed "model" prisoner as the main stream media and the bleeding hearts would lead you to believe.

I believe justice should take place much quicker while still fresh in people's minds.

Justice delayed is justice denied.  Sometimes it's best to proceed with great caution in carrying out these sentences, but in this case, even though the bastard maintained he was innocent, I believe he should have been dispatched about 30 years ago.  And it would have been for just cause; just cause he was a sumbitch.
