New Remington 750 Woodmaster!!

Have any of you guys seen this rifle?? I saw it in a gun magazine today and its chambered in 243,270, 308, 30-06, and 35 whelen. Just wondering if ya'll had seen this or have any more info on them. Thanks - Muddy

Its the auto. I dont know of any links. I did a search for it and its listed but no pictures... I figured remington would have it on their website but its not there. ??? It was on the cover of a magazine my friend had at work. I'll check it out tonight again and get the exact name of the magazine.

The 35 Whelen ought to be awesome.  Since they make a 308 version it's too bad that they didn't chamber for the 358 Win.  I wonder if they will chamber for the 338 Federal down the road a bit

The article i read was in "GUN 2006 Buyer's Annual". The 750 Woodmaster is on the cover and it looks like a newer model 742/7400. The stock had a different look but looked better to me.

I would love a 358 Win version.  But I don't have a 35 Whelen and would really like one.  The 338 Federal should be easily doable from a technical perspective unless the pressure is too high.

The factory ballistics for the 338 Federal are such that I'd assume at least 55,000 CUP and possibly 60,000.  Whereas the 358 Win is rated at 52,000 CUP.
