Nylon 11?
« on: December 13, 2005, 12:49:58 PM »
Can anyone give me a value on a Remington Nylon 11 in decent shape? Does anyone know where to buy magzines for it that don't cost an arm and a leg? Will magazines from 500 series rifles work in the nylon 11? Can anyone walk me through the process of disassembling the rifle? I want to remove the barrel and action so I can have them reblued.
Sorry for all the questions and thanks for any help I receive. Worm.

Here's a link on how to remove the barrel, http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/nylonrifles/message/1467  If it doesn't show up for you pm me and I'll just copy it for you.  As for the mags, I have a 511 mag for my Apache 77 and it works ok, most of the time :).  Not sure on the price of these, but I the ones I have seen are running in the $250 range.  Hope this helps.
