I shot a doe with the 150 gr fusion 30-30.  The round worked great.  60 yds, big hole.  It was also the most accurate round compared to the rem and win pp /silver tip ammo out of my gun.

The gun is a 1982 model 158 with the mannlicher stock that I got at a pawn shop for $100 a few months ago.  I saw the stock and fell in love.
It took a weekend of sanding and a dozen coats of linseed oil to make it pretty.  Did a trigger job from info i found on this sight - highly recommend it.  It turned some heads at the deer lease.

You can check with H&R, they had some earlier this year, but I doubt they have any left. They were $35 shipped.
