1/2" huh? I'm thinking it'll take more than a barrel change to make a 1/2" shooter out of a Glock. What type and brand is this barrel? Maybe I need one!

Edit: Looked on the Midway website. You must be referring to the Wilson barrel.  Hope you have had the barrel properly fitted by a gunsmith as per Wilson't instructions. Wilson says their test barrels are capable of 1/2 groups. As the barrel is only one variable in the accuracy equation, don't expect 1/2 groups from your Glock. Two-three inches would be great!

With my other Glock I got 2" to 3" at 25yds With Glock barrel I got 5" any where after 10 yds. When I test this new barrel I will use sand bags for support. I have taken a gunsmith course and passed with scores of 98. And yes I fitted this barrel into the Glock. Same as I did the other one that was stolen from me. Thanks for asking :D

Sounds like you've got a handle on the barrel swap. I have to go with drop-ins as I'm no gunsmith! I usually buy the Jarvis or KKM drop-ins and have good success with them. I have a mdl 17 that will shoot 3" or a little bit less at 25yds on a good day. This one still has the Glock barrel. I concentrated on the trigger mechanism to improve accuracy on mine. I installed the Wolff 4# firing pin spring, the factory 3.5# connector and 4# trigger spring, the Ultimate Trigger Stop from Lone Wolf, and polished all the bearing surfaces. Great improvement to the trigger pull. Makes it much easier to shoot well. Good luck with your 22, let us know how it turns out.

I also have a Ruger P89 that I smoothed the sear on witch made the trigger pull alot smother and it would shoot a 11/2" three shot group at 25 yds. I will let you know how this Glock 22 does but I'll wait for a simi warm
day in Jan. It is my Christmas present.

Did all the mods Savage did but used the Jarvis barrel. Best grouping from sand bags was 1 3/4" and that was a one time deal. Wilson probably uses a machine rest.

Ahab, Nothing wrong with a 13/4" group. I will shoot my glock 22 off sand bags and squeezing that trigger soon.  :D

Don't forget the universal receiver and match ammo!
Darn sure didn't do it with a Glock.

I took it out yesterday and at 15 yds [ it was windy] all the rounds wanted to go to one hole.  The Glock was shooting low.  I didn't want to change my sights at this time for cold shooting. Temp was about 40 degres.
So with the Glock shooting low I aimed to the top of my 3" target and 2" low it made a hole with the rounds at 15 yds. I shot 8 rounds thru this hole. I thought that was OK for this barrel.  I'll take it out at a later date and sight it in. It has adjustable sights. :D
