What is this thing?  A Colt mistake? A collector item?  A shooter?  Something to forget?  Would love to hear some facts and opinions.   Thanks!

It was Colt's wonder 9. I guess it wasn't a hit so it didn't stay on the market long. I never handled one but they looked good.

If they'd just chambered their Govt. Modle in 9mm they probably would've been OK but somebody got a hair up his backside vent and they came out with the All American and the rest, as they say, is history.   :cry:
