Hello. I have the one-piece aluminum Talley mount on My T/C Omega. I discovered when the scope (Leup. 2X7) is mounted that the the power adjustment is very tough to turn. I first tried shimming the back and then the front, then I even mounted it backwards and when tight I had the same trouble. I appears that the rings are not out of alignment but are too tight. I am not overtightening the rings, and this scope just came off another rifle with no problems. I am going to borrow a scope lapping tool from my father and see if that helps. I was wondering if any one else has had this problem with this particular Talley set up.
