i have a .223 encore pistol and i want to learn to use it well. i have in mind shots at the absolute most 200 yards...i am sure i cant shoot accurately at that range....i could do 3" or so with my .17HMR contender, but that was as good as it got.

i want a recommendation for a scope or red dot or something...i dont like the heavy scopes and i dont like the red dots not having enough resolution or power.

suggestions? is there a small tube with crosshairs? or maybe a scope but the size of a red dot and low power?

looking for light and yet able to be precise.

No Leupold $9,000 scope ideas please. :roll:

Bushnell Trophy 2X6X32mm. That is what I had on my 223. I was shooting golfballs at 200 yards with the set up.

I had a Burris 3X with AO, worked great, but put it on my 357 Max. Have a Simmons 6X on my 223 now, haven't shot it yet with that scope.........
