There has been a considerable amount of discussion on the H&R/NEF  forum about H&R/NEF's becoming loose over time and or accuracy degrading over time.  So I am possing this question to any long time Rossi owners or Rossi owners who have put a substantial number of rounds threw there guns;  Have you experienced any loosening of the action, stretching of frames or degradation of accuracy in your Rossi single shot rifle(s)?

Brett, thanks for the post. After reading all that, I myself was wondering too, if after many substantual rounds have been fired through them, if the same happenings have occurred. The working loosing or stretching of frames.
I believe most that buy any of our favored single shot rifles, either H&R/NEF or Rossi, are conservative hunter/shooters. Though I in no way stereotype them../Us 8)

I have put many many rounds through my various rossis, and have only had one problem, my .308 was a little loose from the factory and it loosened up more after shooting it, and accuracy suffered, It was traded off this weekend for a rossi .22 mag in stainless. but have not had problems out of the straight walled cartridges and the rimfires.
best regards

well the 22 mag shot fairly good, but I had the barrel cut back to stiffen it up and it'll put 5 shots well under a dime at 25 yds.
