scout scope mount for TC rifle barrels

is there a base made which allows using a extended eye relief scope on a TC rifle barrel ?  The idea of being able to cock the hammer without having the eye piece interferring and additional weight forward seems like a good layout.

Not that I know of. . .probably the best you can do is to get a full-bull barrel and have 4 mount holes drilled and tapped at mid-barrel.

I don't see why the Wild West Guns scout mount intended for the marlin lever guns wouldn't work, it requires that the barrel be drilled and tapped and have a similar contour.   I had a custom scout base made for my p17 enfield.  If you can find one that is close to the same contour then you can bed it in place and it should work well.
