XD Conversion from 40S&W to 9mm
« on: December 18, 2005, 01:38:09 PM »
Ok guys how does this work:

Converting a springfeild XD from 40S&W to 9mm

People are telling me all you need to do is swap barrels, thats it!

They are saying everthing else works fine, just swap barrels and your read to shoot.

I thought with the different case heads you would need to change the extractor and/or the slide.

I don't know about the Springfield XD. I know the Glock 22     40 caliber can trade barrels with the 357 Glock. :D

With the low cost of the XD pistols, I think I'd just buy another in 9mm. Everyone needs another gun!

I'd buy another pistol.. If you are paitient they can be found cheap.. Not a fan of 9mm for defence buy lower cost of ammo is a big plus. You can never have too many XD'S around.
