Have you tried the Marvel .22 conversion unit for the 1911? How did you like it? Any problems? Thanks.

I havent seen any .22 conversion that was all that reliable. Most at least need to use plated bullets as lead ones dont work that well.

What you get is a very accurate and a good trainer as well as a match or squirrel gun, is what you end up with when you get a Marvel unit.  I have had mine for over a year.  I bought a packet of extra power recoil springs for mine as well as an extra mag.  The times I spoke to there tech support line (asking about, springs, ammo and ordering the springs and extra mag) they were polite, helpful and knowldgible.

About the only trouble I have with mine is I often have to help the first round out of a full (10 round) mag in.  Other then that it has been as reliable as my Ruger Standard Auto.

It is very doubtful that you would be sorry that you bought it.
