you may have your barrel modified for a 6 screw setup but the redfeild will only allow the use of "5" screws. That should be enough to do the job.
I am thinking of trying this. It is a very good looking mount.

I use the weaver bases and add an extra screw to the front. Never had a problem. KN

that was a reply for Selmer to his redfeild mount. I don't think their is room to drill the mount for more than 5 screws.
