Oh boy fellas, I went an got myself another dog. Actually, he was a gift to a good home and he was free (best kind). It is a Bouvier des Flandres - he's a 10 mo old and neutered, brindle black and grey, 65 pounds and about the best Christmas gift I could have gotten my two older Standard Poodles. He is a hoot. He is funny and energetic and my two other dogs love the interaction. He is one of those gentle giants. His background is herding and hunting. He is a combination of Sheepdog, Griffon and Barbget. He might get to 110 and if he does he will be BIG. He is just having so much fun right now it is tough for everybody to get to sleep at night. I think he is really happy to have other dogs to be with.
He has natural herding instincts, but I hafta tellya that the flocks of turkeys that come around don't appreciate that too much.
Right now my two older guys are sacked right out. He however is happily chewing a 25 year old bone that every other dog who has ever lived here has chewed. I think he will carry on tradiotion nicely. Merry Christmas to me. Mikey.
