YEAR 2003, Remington #1, Rolling Block
« on: March 10, 2003, 04:42:22 AM »
Gents and Madams,

The Remington Arms website provides two images of currently available #1 Rolling Block rifles in .45-70.

They look to be reasonably priced entry level rifles for BPCR silhouette, gong or long distance shooting.

1.  Mid range sporter, 30" barrel and 11 1/2 pounds, #7567, suggested retail $1,388.00.

2.  Silhouette Target, 30" barrel and 11 1/2 pounds, #7569, suggested retail $1,492.00.

Neither model is equipped with sights.

Physically seen one of these rifles at the Tulsa Gun Show last October.  It was the deluxe version, in a deluxe carrying case, with the special order silhouette sights.  All of which are listed as available from the factory. Gent from Phoenix, AZ had this fully equipped deluxe version for about $1,700.00.

Anyone presently enjoying the usage of a newly manufactured Remington Rolling Block Rifle?
