here in ohio we have to have our 330's completely submerged! since this law is in effect is the use of a dive stick necessary 100% of the time? and how big of a stick should it be minimum?

Take a look at the castor mound photc.When I totally submerge a set,I almost always use the cross sticks in the same way.At times I will put a larger divepole over the top.but then agai, I still have my cross sticks.

I just wanted you to look at the one photo that is left on the thread.
I use that exact same set up,when I totally submerge the trap.The cross sticks will work in place of a dive pole,or a pole can be used in conjunction with the cross sticks.
Either way ,your results will be the same-----a dead beaver.
